Wateraid
Wateraid was founded in 1981 and has been instrumental since in providing water programmes to drought-stricken areas of the world that lack clean water to drink. If you do nothing else today, visit their site and look through what they've achieved - it's a cause we're proud to support.
Wateraid need a site that can be kept constantly up to date… but they simply can't spend great amounts of cash on external developers, or in expanding their already hard-pressed IT team. That's why they use dotEditor.
The site incorporates:
- dotEditor Corporate, its advanced workflow solution allowing several people across the charity (in various locations) to be responsible for various areas of content.
- Form builder plug in, allowing Wateraid to very quickly put together questionnaires and feedback forms for their donors and potential donors.
- Various DP tags, by which users can add specific functionality to individual pages.
- The URL Masking plugins, allowing them to create easily-memorable URLs (such as wateraid.org/londonmarathon) to use in press campaigns.
- Our template generator, which enables users to create page templates that can then be used by others across the organisation.
The result? Wateraid's site reflects the effectiveness of the charity and provides people with information in a far better manner than ever before. It saves them money and takes away a heavy burden of work from a stretched IT department.
